This includes experimental code, fresh from the keyboard. You might want to consider Disk Clock Stable instead.

- DiskClock-latest.zip.
- Size: 187kb
- Version: 2.0 2009-11-04
- Requires: OS X 10.4 Tiger. (Or a browser with good canvas support.)
Changes
- 2.0 - Massive internal refactoring. Only visible change is that default disk coloring changed from quarters to halves.
- 1.13 - Basic function as an Opera 10 widget. This involved fixing some other Opera related issues. Changed colors for some of the X-hours disks. Fixed daylight colors for distant time zones.
- 1.12 - Animation tweaking, getting rid of invisible things, more css based properties. Now uses url parameters, so it's possible to bookmark configurations when using it in the browser.
- 1.11 - Dynamic settings for disks. This allows the lifetime/birthday disks to be turned on by default. Changed animation functions from slow-medium-slow to fast-slow. Implemented some QUnit testing for improvements to HTML generation and refactoring of pacha.
- 1.10 - Reinvented modes of configuration and interaction. Smoothed out transitions. A little more internal improvement.
- 1.9 - Fixed a negative-radius bug exposed by Safari 4 beta, and then carried on into abstracting over the widget platform. Now has fallback buttons if not running on OS X. Changed default settings to do less animation and switching.
- 1.8 - Internal refactoring, and recentered the pointer.
- 1.7 - Fixed a an updated bug when only slow disks are shown, and a recursively triggered update when hovering over the text window (in Firefox, at least). Internal refactoring begins.
- 1.6 - New Diurnal Cycle disks, rewritten color handling, mixed-mode bed times, and a description on the day disk. Also, fixed a bug from animation re-write that prevented second disk from spinning.
- 1.5 - Attempted to fix animation pops again, removed logo disk and put on default/back image.
- 1.4 - Chrome support, time unit dsl (internal), default auto-show inhibit 6 hours.
- 1.3 - Glass effect, jump-free pegged animation, moved 'i' button, clubbed mouse in/out detection with a hammer, fixed color of tick marks in first quarter of day disk.
- 1.2.1 - Incorporated newer WebKit scope/closure patch from 1.0.2. Have not yet taken time to investigate the underlying cause.
- 1.2 - Mozilla screenshots can be triggered by 's' key; you must configure the file location in DiskClock.js first.
- 1.1 - support for timed screen capture, used to create the animated gif on the main page. It only works in Mozilla based browsers and enabling it requires modifying the Javascript file. It's not really a user feature.
- Sweet Dreams
- Each disk could use a description of what it is and isn't.
- Sweet Dreams
- It's not possible to re-order disks.
- Sweet Dreams
- Can't do non-linear scales - such as months (28-31) or (leap) years.
- Sweet Dreams
- Some calculations are fudged (in particular, solstice offset).
- Sweet Dreams
- I'd like an interface for custom disks.
- Sweet Dreams
- Pull in iCal or some other source to show upcoming events.
- Sweet Dreams
- Browser portability.
- Sweet Dreams
- Widget/Gadget portability.
- Sweet Dreams
- Unix epoch disk is for all practical purposes 31 bits unsigned; it should be 31 bits signed.
